President/Executive Director
Lawrence Frimpong is member of the Houston-based M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Global Academic Program sub-committee on Africa. Over the last 2 decades he has served on Advisory Boards for healthcare and international trade organizations, both in the North American region and in Ghana. Lawrence spent much of his career in the healthcare industry, currently supervising the Cytogenetics Laboratory at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
He is a founding director of the Ghana-Houston Chamber of Commerce (GHCC), having previously served as Vice Chairman until August 2017. He previously served as President and Vice President of the Ghana Association of Houston. Lawrence Frimpong graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST), in Ghana, a Post Baccalaureate certificate in Cytogenetics from UT Health Science Center-Houston and an MBA from Texas Woman's University, in Texas.
